Unite’s Electrical, Mechanical Engineering Construction Combine has - and always - will listen to and act on members’ concerns. The combine is led by lay membership representation challenging deskilling, and fighting to defend the jobs, pay and conditions of all electrical and mechanical members.
Unite’s Electrical, Mechanical Engineering Construction Combine will always head off and defend the trades against these attacks and in the midst of a cost of living crisis is fighting to secure a better pay deal for workers.
Many Electrical, Mechanical Engineering Construction employers have refused to listen to the calls of our workers in light of the cost of living crisis. Working men and women are being told they are expected to pay for this crisis, while profits soar, shareholders cash in and managing directors and chief executives enjoy huge bonuses.
