BAE systems is one of the world’s largest defence companies. Bet you didn’t know that this global giant isn't a real living wage employer. 

Right now at BAE systems sites across the country, the company’s outsourced cleaners, receptionists, catering and security staff are not paid a real living wage. 

It’s time for that to change.

Dear Charles Woodburn,

I believe BAE systems should be a real living wage employer, because it's the right thing to do. 

By signing up to become an accredited Living Wage employer BAE systems commits to extending the real living wage to not only anyone directly employed at the company but also indirectly employed sub-contracted workers as well.

It’s such a simple thing for the global giant to do but will make a huge difference to the lives of some of the lowest paid workers across all its sites and in local communities too.

It's time for BAE Systems to live up to its motto and serve and protect those that serve us in our canteens, protect us on the job and clean for us.
