Unite/CPHVA today has launched the first edition of its 150 year HV timeline. Its the first edition as we'll be updating this over the next few months as we do further research and members send back their 'moments in time'.
To view the timeline, you need to have software to access PDF documents installed. You will also need to zoom in close to read the text as there are so many important dates in health visiting history.

The Department of Health has today launched their vision and model for school nursing. Unite Community Practitioners' & Health Visitors' Association (CPHVA) and its school nurse members have been involved in the development of this very important piece of work and we welcome its publication. However, we remain very concerned about the numbers of school nurses. We've issued a press release on that today
