Advance Care
Planning Course: 8 July and 12 October 2010, from 9.30 -
16.00 Cost - £50
This course will aim to teach the value of
good communication skills in the context of difficult and often
distressing circumstances as well as give candidates an opportunity
to see and practise the skills required. Each course is divided
into four sessions:What is Advance Care Planning; Communication and
the use of language in EoLC; Setting the scene; preparing
yourself-what do I want to know? and Advance Care Planning in
action; how to care for yourself while caring for others.
