By getting involved in Unite’s Working
Students Campaign you can help to change thousands of working
student’s lives. It’s not easy being a full-time student and
working, but together we change this.
Join Unite
There
are many different ways to get involved, the first thing you can do
is join. It’s just £10 a year (yes, really)
The Workplace
Check
whether you have a workplace representative by contacting us. These
are elected volunteers at work who stick-up for members and give
advice, together workplace representatives from all trade unions
make up the biggest volunteer base in the UK.
Organise your
workplace
Working in a non-unionised workplace? Then get
your co-workers to join and get the recognition and representation
they deserve.
Join one of Unite Student
Societies
Find out if your Students Union has a Unit
e Society by asking the society officer. If not, set one up using our Society
toolkit.
Get email updates
Make
sure we’ve got your correct email address my registering for
‘My Unite’
online service. Here you can update all your information and
choose what updates you want to receive.

Work at a summer
festival
Want to go to a summer festival but can't come
up with the cash? Get a ticket to Glastonbury, Leeds or Reading
by working at the Workers Beer Bar. Contact your regional officer
and let them know you’re interested.
