Unite Working StudentsAbout us

Working students campaign
Unite's working students campaign aims to promote trade union awareness to students whilst campaigning with them for better working rights and respect at work. Our objective is to unite working students at universities and in the workplace so they can support each other and campaign for better working rights using our resources and knowledge. We do this as working students get a raw deal at work, we want to change that and we want to revitalise our movement with their involvement.

Trade unions
A trade union is an organisation that represents people at work. They act to protect and improve peoples pay and conditions of employment. They also campaign for laws and policies, which will help people both at home and at work.
