Unite the Union on Twitter

 Twitter

Twitter is a free social messaging utility for designed to help  organisations, friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick and frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

The service is accessed over the Internet and posts are known as Tweets - up to 140 characters that are displayed on our profile page and delivered to our followers - users who have subscribed to them. You can also choose to get updates via an RSS feed.

Unite the Union is using the service as just one of the many ways we communicate with our members, workplace reps and colleagues—especially when they’re timely.

It's another way we stay connected to you so that you can always know what the union is doing in short, bite sized updates regarding our campaigns, breaking stories and all our news.

We aim to update at least one day, but often you'll find several posts are created throughout a 24-hour period featuring news, events, blogs and pictures, but if you sign-up to the services you can send us direct messages. You can respond to our Tweets, suggest new topics or let us know what you are doing.

If you'd like to sign-up to follow us, simply click on "follow" at the top of the feed on the right here or visit our Twitter page here.
