Acas talks in Yorkshire ambulance dispute

Talks under the auspices of the conciliation service Acas will take place in an effort to resolve the dispute between Unite the union and the Yorkshire ambulance service. 
In preparation for the talks Unite has withdrawn planned industrial action which was due to take place on Saturday 22 June.  
A spokesperson for Yorkshire ambulance service welcomed this move by Unite - both parties have confirmed their commitment to the talks, which will take place over the coming weeks.
