Unite lobbies members of the National Assembly for Wales and is involved with meetings and other events at the Senedd on issues that matter to our members. Recent examples of this include activity around Remploy and an event with Assembly Members and the Wales TUC to mark Workers’ Memorial Day.
A number of unions have organised groups of Assembly Members and the Unite Group of Assembly Members is currently the largest in the National Assembly with twenty members including cabinet ministers. The group’s convenor is David Rees AM.
The union also offers support and encouragement to help our members lobby their individual assembly members. You can download our handy guide on how to lobby the National Assembly for Wales and understand better the way it works.
