On Saturday 18 October why not join fellow Unite members from across Wales and UK wide on the TUC organised demo through London to demand ‘Britain needs a pay rise’
We’ll be travelling there by train en masse calling for an economic recovery for all not just the top 1 per cent.
Let’s tell Cameron’s cabinet of multi-millionaires once and for all that austerity isn’t working for us.
The march will go from Blackfriars Embankment to Hyde Park and Unite Wales has organised train travel for members leaving early morning from stations in North Wales and South Wales.
Trains will leave London on the return leg early evening.
North Wales stations: Holyhead, Bangor, Llandudno Junction, Colwyn Bay, Prestatyn, Flint and Chester.
Trains will arrive into and return from London Euston. Group tube travel to and from the march and rally will be arranged.
South Wales stations: Cardiff and Newport (on the Wales TUC organised charter train). If you need to travel from the Swansea area etc to get the connection at Cardiff then Unite can reimburse the cost (within reason) of your connecting train journey.
Trains will arrive into and return from London Paddington. Group tube travel to and from the march and rally will be arranged.
Our spaces on these trains are free to Unite members but spaces are limited and the deadline for booking is Friday 19th September. Please get in touch to enquire if you would like to bring a family member. Children are welcome.
