Attention members formerly employed by Edwards Ltd
“Unite is supporting legal action on behalf of its members against Edwards Ltd (“Edwards”) arising out of its decision to cease paying Additional Annual Payments to its former employees from the point that they reach normal retirement age. Some claimants will have already reached normal retirement age and had their Additional Annual Payments stopped by Edwards whilst others have been informed that payment will stop when they reach that age.
The claim concerns former employees of Edwards whose employment was transferred over from Edwards High Vacuum International on or around the 1 June 2007. Individual inclusion in the claim will depend on factors such as being a deferred member of the BOC Pension Scheme, having 10 or more years continuous service of that Scheme and having been made redundant by Edwards Ltd.
If you wish to be considered for the claim you will need to complete a questionnaire. To obtain a copy of the questionnaire please contact Shelley Phillips on 01753 313834 or at email@example.com as soon as possible. All questionnaires will need to be returned to Shelley Phillips at Unite by the 28 February 2018. If you do not return a completed questionnaire by this date, you will not be included in the claim”.
