The South Yorkshire Festival is held each year at Wortley Hall. The festival is a family and cultural event celebrating the trade unions and Labour movement.
In 2014 the festival celebrated its 20th anniversary and also commemorated the 30th anniversary of the miners' strike.
Wortley Hall is run as a co-operative and for several decades has been associated with the trade union movement.
The date of the 2017 South Yorkshire Festival is still to be confirmed.
