Unite submits pay claim for London Underground staff

Unite has tabled the 2015 pay claim for workers in London Underground. Unite hopes to reach agreement with Tube bosses on pay and conditions of service for 2015/16 before the settlement date of April 2015.

The claim consisted of the following;

I.     Introduction of a 32 hour 4 day week without loss of pay.
II.    A substantial real term increase in pay and in all associated payments - specifically RPI {+}.
III.   Replacement of all existing performance related reward schemes with a negotiated consolidated productivity bonus segmented at company and functional level.
IV.   Consideration of a multi-year deal depending on acceptability of remainder of pay settlement.  
V.    Increased Annual Leave.
VI.   Improved and extended travel arrangements on a pan TfL basis inclusive of river boat and cable car.
VII.  Improvement in sickness arrangements.
VIII. Increase in First Aid payments to £1000.
IX.   Improvements in Maternity, Paternity, Parental and Adoption Leave.
X.    Review of all agency workers numbers and their rates of pay.
XI.   Improvement of all long service awards.

This is in addition to all outstanding claims and for the avoidance of doubt Night Tube payments.
