Unite members at the Homes and Communities Agency strike over pay!

25 March 2014

Members are striking over the refusal of management to negotiate over pay and what Suzanne Muna, Housing Workers branch secretary, describes as 'the disgusting level of pay inequality at the Agency'.

Picket lines were formed in protest today at Maple House, 149 Tottenham Court Road, London, W1T between 7am and 11am. The protest will continue at the same time on Wednesday and Thursday and all members are invited to join in to show their support.

Describing the pay inequality Suzanne highlighted 'While one director is paid £165k per year, and the chair of the board gets £88k for his part-time role, one third of our members will get no cost of living increase and some will get not a penny extra this year despite rising costs.'
