Pay talks have been adjourned until 25th March when all the cost implications of night tube running have been agreed.
Each grade group will now examine in detail the implications at a functional level for rosters and working hours, and how any adverse impact can be eliminated, minimised or compensated. Unite is determined to ensure that any benefits are shared across all grade groups and that any impacts are voluntary.
London Underground have not improved on their derisory pay offer of 0.5% across the board and a revised offer is expected on March 25th.
Hugh Roberts, Unite officer, said "Our members pay rise isn't going to subsidise night tube and neither are our members going to lose out on what might emerge from the night tube review. If London Underground wants to open Pandora's Box - so be it."
