The industrial action ballot at Bombardier UK closed on 12 March, with Unite members voting in favour both of strike action and action short of strike. Unite has notified the employer and will soon be giving notice of the form that the action will take.
This small group of members are standing firm against Bombardier’s attempts to enforce unnecessary roster changes. Their action will have a big impact on London Overground services, so we can expect them to come under pressure to call off their industrial action from many fronts, possibly including the media.
