Bombardier Unite members vote overwhelmingly for strike action

15 April 2015

95% of Unite members at Bombardier working on the C2C maintenance contract at East Ham and Shoeburyness Depots have voted for strike action.100% have voted to also work to rule.

The cumulative impact of strike and the work to rule action will seriously disrupt train services between London and Southend - a major commuter route into London.

The dispute centres on pay differentials between the Bombardier C2C Depots and other Bombardier depots elsewhere in London.

Bombardier have asked for urgent talks and these are expected to take pace in the next 48 hours.
