CPHVA Education & Development Trust - story so far

Since its first awards in 1996 the Education and Development Trust have granted over 40 awards or prizes totalling over £72,000.

Awards and prizes currently include two poster award prizes (and sometimes more!) given at CPHVA conference each year, for the best practice and research posters.

Annual awards for excellence in practice, research or leadership.

Annual Travel bursary awards allowing individuals to undertake public health work overseas.

Occasional one off awards are also made such as the one presented at the 2015 CPHVA annual awards for parenting and family support.

Support for a number of newly qualified members or those who have not experienced the CPHVA professional conference are available each year.

The awards are an ever evolving process and we aim to keep them as up to date as possible.

Awards for the 2017 cycle will be advertised in the Community Practitioner journal after June 2017

If you have any questions or suggestions for future awards please contact the Chair of Trustees John White
