Liz has worked for the NHS for over 30 years and has been an active rep for Unite and its predecessor unions (MSF, Amicus) for the last 16 of those years.

Paddy joined the NHS in April 1977, has been an estates & maintenance rep since 1979.  He is a full time seconded rep for Unite in BHSCT, a member of the Northern Ireland Regional Industrial Sector committee, chair of the Belfast AAC, lead lay rep for estates & maintenance in Northern Ireland region, chair of the Estates & Maintenance OPC and member of  HNISC.

Frank has worked as a biomedical scientist since 1987 and  has been a union representative for some 20 years. He is currently in his second term on the Unite EC.

Kerry is a workplace rep, equality rep and health & safety rep at South Central Ambulance in Hampshire. She has been in the Ambulance Service since 1992 and a Unite rep for ten years, she sits on the SE Regional Industrial Sector Committee (RISC), Ambulance Organising Professional Committee (OPC) and Health National Industrial Sector Committee (HNISC).

Peter has worked in the NHS since 1975 and been a pharmacist in the NHS since 1981. He has been a union rep since 1989 and is currently chair of T&C on the Pharmacy OPC.

David is a proud servant of the NHS since 1984, biomedical scientist in haematology and blood transfusion, current chair of the Newcastle Hospitals branch of Unite, activist and RISC member for North East.

Debbie is the chair of the Ambulance national OPC, as well as a member of the North East, Yorkshire & Humberside RISC. She is also an operational paramedic and branch secretary of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service branch of Unite.

Derek has worked in the NHS since 1988 at Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and represents members at a number of NHS Trusts in the Merseyside area.

Manjeet (Mandy) has been a rep and has worked in the NHS in the Trafford area since 1995.  She also sits on the disabled regional and national committee and has the seat at the TUC (disabled LGBT seat) and the LGBT regional committee. 

Zoe has worked as a speech and language therapist since 1998, including a period working in the health service in Australia. She currently works for Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. Zoe has been an active rep since 2004 and currently sits on the West Midland RISC, Speech & Language Therapists OPC and has interest in Equalities, sitting in the regional and national Disabled Members Committee.

Cherry has worked in the NHS in Lincolnshire since 1995 representing health workers at Pilgrim Hospital, Lincolnshire.

Andrew has worked for the National Health Service since 1978, and has been a workplace representative since 1996 with various employers. Andrew is currently a workplace and staff side representative at Nottingham University Hospitals and is chair of the East Midlands Health RISC.

Ruth has worked in the NHS since 1970 and as a speech & language therapist since 1994. She has been a rep in East London since 1999.

Ian started working at the Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust in 1996 as a support worker (MLA) and he is now a biomedical scientist in biochemistry and immunology. Chair of the Health Sciences national OPC and South East Health RISC.

Joyce has spent all her working life in the NHS.  She is a trained nurse, midwife, district nurse and now works as a health visitor and Unite workplace rep in Bracknell, Berkshire.   

Shirley is a senior rep in NHS Lothian – previously 13 years as a full time rep across all the professions Unite represent.

Ray is a rep based in Inverness working for NHS Highland. He currently chairs the Health RISC in Scotland and at various times both in Unite and predecessor unions has been a member of the Scottish Regional Committee. He is also branch secretary of the NHS Highland Unite branch.

Ray by background worked in medical physics as an electronic technician but since 2005 has been a full time seconded joint trade union convenor in NHS Highland which by virtue of the arrangements in NHS Scotland he is also appointed as a non executive board member of NHS Highland. 

Julie is a clinical physiologist at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, a workplace representative for healthcare scientists, chair of the Wales Health RISC and delegate to the Regional Council & Wales Partnership Forum.

Ron is a retired north London GP, president MPU (doctors and medical students' section of Unite), Unite/MPU rep on BMA's GP committee. Passionate about fundamental principles of NHS.
