The government's 'hospital closure clause' - aka clause 119 of the Care bill is back in the House of Commons for its report stage reading today, Monday 10 March. Tomorrow MPs will vote on the controversial new law which if passed will give the secretary of state for health power to close any hospital without any public consultation - no matter how solvent or successful. We need to stop the government's latest assault on our NHS.
