Fujitsu employees need an effective voice to ensure we are all treated fairly on the big changes still to come and the day to day issues. The company terminated Fujitsu Voice against the wishes of employees and delayed the replacement, which will also be far weaker.
We all deserve to be listened to and treated fairly no matter where we are based. Where employees have union recognition and collective bargaining, as in Manchester, they are better off on everything from pay reviews to job security and lost less with the Fujitsu Voice termination. Unite is the biggest union in Fujitsu and is seeking to establish union recognition and collective bargaining across the company. This would mean that management would be required to negotiate with you via your Unite representatives to agree the annual pay review, as well as negotiating on any aspect of pay, working hours and other employment terms and conditions. Fujitsu would also be required to consult with you via your Unite representatives over redundancies, TUPE transfers and Health & Safety.
The first step is for staff to demonstrate your support for collective bargaining through Unite by signing this online petition. It is completely confidential – Fujitsu will never see the signatures and you do not have to be a member to sign it.
If you would like any further information on the petition, please contact Louisa Bull. For more information about Unite at Fujitu click here.
