ELECTROTECHNICAL CERTIFICATION SCHEME IN SCOTLAND
ECS cards in Scotland are only issued by the SJIB but before a card can be obtained applicants must demonstrate they have the required level of health & safety awareness. This can be done either by providing evidence of a valid exemption or by passing the ECS health & safety assessment.
Unite runs these assessments to promote health & safety awareness and best practice in the electrical contracting and construction industry. The cost in Scotland is £30 for Unite members and is not available to non-members. To arrange an assessment in Scotland with Unite please email Angela Johnston
