Sinead Whiston, a human factors researcher from Dublin City University, is currently conducting research on the effectiveness of changes made to Flight Time Limitations from the perception of crew (Pilots and Cabin Crew) in Europe. The survey takes no more than 10 minutes to complete and all information is strictly confidential. The aim of the research is to evaluate if crew perceive the changes made to Flight Time Limitations as positive, neutral or negative relating to fatigue and safety. This study also looks at the principles of Just Culture, in order to see if the reporting systems which crew operate are linked to there rating of changes made to FTLs. There are a number of short stand alone questions relating to the direct reporting of fatigue and evaluation of fatigue management training. If you wish to complete the survey, please click here.
