Unite for Apprenticeships

Unite believe that genuine, industry recognised apprenticeships are an excellent investment for UK industry and the public purse, creating lifelong employment mobility, a firm foundation for an individual’s working life and career, and securing a sustainable skills base for the UK.

Unite and its predecessor unions have a long tradition of involvement and participation in the development of apprenticeships in skilled, technical, professional and craft based occupations, advocating the important role bona fide industry recognised apprenticeships play for skills development, career progression and ensuring the long term sustainability of the UK economy and its skills base.

The following resources are here to assist Unite reps, members, apprentices and prospective apprentices, to aid in the union’s ongoing drive for high quality apprenticeships across industry.
