Building, Construction and Allied Trades Industrial Sector
General Engineering, Manufacturing and Servicing (GEMS) Industrial Sector
As a result of the resignation from the Executive Council of Building, Construction and Allied Trades industrial sector representative John Sheridan it is necessary to hold a by-election to elect his successor.
Similarly, as a result of the re-organisation of the industrial sectors agreed at the September 2014 council meeting a by-election is required in the General Engineering, Manufacturing and Servicing (GEMS) industrial sector.
The timetable for these by-elections is as follows:

||5 January to noon on 30 January 2015
||PM on 30 January 2015
Any Unite member who is a member of the relevant Industrial Sector on 27 October 2014 is eligible to participate in this ballot.

Ballot papers and elections addresses will be posted to members eligible to vote from 5 January 2015. Any member who has not received their ballot paper by 21 January 2015 should contact the ballot enquiry service on 0800 783 3856 (0818 333 155 from the Republic of Ireland).
