Unite is looking to recruit a Regional Community Coordinator to develop the union's community membership scheme in the London & Eastern Region. The role involves identifying, supporting and developing community activists and self-sustaining community groups for issue based campaigning and the wider advancement of trade union values and social justice. The role will extend links between the union's working and community members.
The post-holder will be based in the Moreland Street Office in London.
The position is permanent and full-time.
Salary: £36,434 per annum - Grade 7
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be able to work within disadvantaged communities and have experience of trade unionism and grass roots community activism and have excellent organisational skills.
