Vigil in support of Miami Five outside US Embassy Dublin
Unite and the Free Miami Five Campaign - with the support of
ICTU and SIPTU held a candle lit vigil outside the American Embassy
on 12 October 2009 to bring attention to the re-sentencing hearing
scheduled for the Miami Five the following day. Chris Andrews TD,
Finian McGrath TD and Maureen O'Sullivan TD, all members of the
Irish Parliament were present together with Jimmy Kelly the
Regional Secretary of Unite.
