Help us Stop the squeeze End the pay freeze

Local government workers are not just being squeezed, they’re being hammered – cuts to pay, pension and jobs means workers are doing even more for less.

Council workers have had their (2012-13) pay claim kicked into touch for a third year running with the Local Government Employers (LGE) imposing a pay freeze for a third year in a row - a real terms cut in pay.

Join Unite in the campaign to fight the cuts – Take action - Keep the pressure on:

• Protecting people - protecting jobs and services for stronger communities
• Protecting pay - fighting for fair pay
• Protecting pensions - defending the local government pension scheme
