Blacklisting warning signBlacklisting warning signOn Thursday 2 May the Scottish parliament will debate the motion ‘Blacklisting: A Scottish and UK human rights abuse.’

To coincide with this crucial debate, Unite is calling on construction workers and supporters to assemble and demonstrate at the Scottish parliament on Thursday 2 May  from 11.00 until 12:30 (prior to the debate).

The debate has been called by Neil Findlay MSP, who has worked tirelessly to highlight the scourge of blacklisting in Scotland and the need for an independent inquiry.  A delegation from Unite and the Blacklist Support Group will attend Holyrood to represent workers and families whose lives have been affected by Blacklisting.

A large turnout of campaign supporters is required to send a strong message to the Scottish government that it’s now time to seriously tackle the insidious practice of blacklisting.
