Conference agendas

Delegates have been elected by Regional Industrial Sector Committees and National Industrial Sectors where necessary. The Agendas [member login required] for these conferences are been compiled from motions submitted by National and Regional Industrial Sector Committees. Printed copies of the agendas will be issued to all delegates when they register for the conference in Brighton, registration will take place in the Brighton Centre Foyer: Between 16:00 and 18.00 the day before your conference or before 09.00 on the day of your conference. Fringe meetings at Sector Conferences

There is a Latin America fringe meeting on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at the close of conference 5:30 hosted by Cuba Solidarity, Justice for Colombia and Venezuela Solidarity in Meeting Room 1B in the Brighton Centre Foyer. All delegates are invited to attend and will be welcomed with a rum cocktail.

Lunchtime fringes on Wednesday will be held at 12:45 when conferences adjourn for lunch.  Refreshments including sandwiches will be provided in the fringe meetings.

There will be an exhibition to provide information to delegates about Unite campaigns and departments as well as affiliated and solidarity organisations in the Brighton Centre Foyer each day of conference. Delegates are invited to visit this before and after conferences sessions and during conference breaks. A full list of exhibitors can be found here


Delegates travelling to Brighton by train for one of the Sector Conferences on Monday 11 November should note the following when planning your journey. There is a link to National Rail journey planner website at the bottom of this section.

Engineering work is taking place between Burgess Hill and Brighton on Saturday 9 November and between Haywards Heath and Brighton / Lewes on Sunday 10 November closing all lines.

On Saturday, buses replace trains between Haywards Heath and Brighton.

On Sunday, buses replace trains between Haywards Heath and Brighton / Lewes.

All weekend, First Capital Connect services will run to an amended timetable with up to 2 trains per hour between Bedford and Haywards Heath and up to 2 trains per hour between London Blackfriars and Haywards Heath. 

Southern will run a reduced services between London Victoria and Haywards Heath. 

Journey times will be extended by up to 45 minutes.
