Come to the Halloween night rally to mark the first anniversary of the government’s decision not to launch an inquiry into “The battle of Orgreave”.
The Orgreave campaign has gone from strength to strength since its foundation in December 2012. The Orgreave Truth and Justice Campaign includes ex-miners, trades unionists, activists and others who are determined to get justice for miners who were victims of police lies and cover ups at Orgreave in June 1984.
The campaign is now gearing up for what it plans as its biggest and best demonstration to date – the HALLOW33N #DeathOfJustice rally.
WHEN: Tuesday 31 October 2017, from 17:30
WHERE: Sheffield, Devonshire Green and march to Sheffield Law Court
The Orgreave Truth and Justice Campaign have called this “Death of Justice Rally” to mark the one year anniversary of home secretary Amber Rudd’s shocking decision not to hold any form of inquiry into the infamous “Battle of Orgreave” where 95 miners were “beaten up, fitted up and locked up”.
The campaign is encouraging people to come along on Halloween to rally against the evil of the past and resent! Fancy dress optional but encouraged!
