Enfield alliance against the cuts: Is our NHS fading away?
Enfield Civic Centre, Silver Street, EN1 3XY
Huge changes are being driven through the NHS. Combined with a funding squeeze, they are causing real fears about the end of the NHS as a publicly owned service providing comprehensive health care free at the point of need.
You are warmly invited to a public meeting being held by Enfield alliance against the cuts to help explain what is happening to the NHS and the effects on members of the public. Enfield alliance against the cuts is an Enfield based, broad alliance of 11,000 affiliates from political parties, trade unions, voluntary and community groups.
A strong panel of speakers includes:
- Monty Meth – President Enfield Over 50s Forum
- Phil Rose – Unite Health campaign co-ordinator
- Shirley Franklin – Keep Our NHS Public, Chair, Defend the Whittington Hospital coalition
- Chair: Chris Kaufman, Enfield alliance against the cuts
